About Our Course:

We don't sell or manufacture spirometry equipment, therefore, our approach is to provide our students the information needed to properly conduct and understand spirometry testing. We have no hidden agenda. The information is presented in an unbiased, understandable, and professional manner. Our practicum instructors have been approved by NIOSH as practicum instructors and have extensive practical experience. They are not technicians who just happen to be available.

  • We talk with people; we don't lecture at them.

  • We limit class size for a more effective learning environment.

  • We teach practical methods to help our students solve current and future problems.

  • We encourage hands-on practice.

  • We have practical experience in solving spirometry problems.

  • We have taught NIOSH approved Spirometry training for 3 decades; therefore, this is not our first time. In fact, the University of Cincinnati and the U.S. Navy helped develop the original NIOSH course training materials and curriculum.

  • Our lecture and practicum materials include the new ATS spirometry guidelines published in September, 1995. Our students are provided the most up to date training materials available.

  • Our training program has stood the test of time. Longevity becomes important if a replacement certificate is ever needed.
