These programs provide comprehensive respirator training for persons who need to become familiar with OSHA respirator standards. This is necessary since OSHA and other standard-making organizations presume the reader has a substantial base of technical knowledge related to the subject matter. Take just one course or both, depending on your needs. Courses held four (4) times per year. Courses Available : Overview of Respiratory Protection This special one day course provides a practical overview of respirators, standards, guidelines, use limitations, fit testing techniques, worker training requirements, and a review of respirator medical clearance examinations. This course is helpful to individuals who oversee respirator users in their workplace. Includes changes to the NEW OSHA Respirator Standard released January 1998 & the April 98 correction. Fit Testing Workshop This workshop provides detailed information and "hands-on" experience for conducting qualitative and quantitative respirator fit testing. A combination of lecture and "hands-on testing in the presence of a trained and experienced instructor will be used to help participants learn how to conduct respirator fit testing to satisfy regulatory requirements. Includes fit test requirements required by the NEW OSHA Respirator Standard. |
